My Top Favourite Book Titles Of All Time

I have been meaning to write a post regarding my favourite authors/books of all time for quite a while now. I thought it would be a great idea to share some of my favourite books with my fellow online book-worm friends. This is due to reading being a huge part of my life so why not share something with you that I’m so strongly passionate about. I absolutely love it and not a single day goes by where I don’t have a little read, even if it is only for 5 minutes before I fall asleep of an evening. So let’s share some of my favourites and see what you guys think.

I would like to start this post of with the one and only Mr. John Green. I was first introduced to this author back in 2013/2014 when my friend handed me her copy of The Fault In Our Stars and told me I have to read. From the moment I picked up that book I couldn’t put it down and has you caught from the very first chapter. I’m sure everyone would have heard of this book due to it recently being turned into an award-winning movie with the main roles being played by the amazing Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. It is a very sad story based on two young characters who suffer with incurable cancer however they are so inspirational and don’t allow the cancer to ruin the life they have left. It is such a beautiful, emotional, romantic love story between two young people and I highly recommend everyone giving it a read if you havent already. Although this is an amazing story this is not my favourite title from John Green. My favourite would have to be Looking For Alaska, This was published back in 2005 so it’s been out quite a while now. This is also another very emotional story with a great meaning. I think this is why I like John Green so much because his stories are very honest and can be very relatable to the problems people face in this life. He doesn’t sugar coat anything and think is why I love his stories. I Have actually read all of John Greens books and would 110% highly recommend each and every one of them. I could sit here and go on for hours about each and every one of them but then there would be no fun in you going and finding out for yourself. I have to admit the two titles I have commented on here are the most well-known titles of John Greens however there are many more out there for you to discover such as Will Grayson, Will grayson, Let it snow, abundance of Katherine, Paper towns and many more so make sure to check them out.

The next book I would like to talk about is Change Of Heart by the beautiful Jodi Picoult. I would never have picked this book up in a bookstore or even have given it a second thought if it wasn’t for the random lady I met on my travels who gave it to me. As you may know I have recently come back from travelling around Asia, Indonesia and Australia for 2 years and during my travels I met so many amazing people. One day I was at a campsite in Darwin, Northern territory of Australia when a lovely elderly couple parked up in a caravan next to ours, within our three days of staying here we made great friends with them. On the last day before we left the Lady came up to me and said she had noticed I like to read and she gave me this book and told me it would change my life, she wasn’t wrong. For the next 3 days I simply couldn’t put this book down. It is about a young gentlemen with learning difficulties who gets wrongly accused of murder and sentenced to life in jail before they eventually decide whether or not he is worthy of life. I have simply never read a story as heartbreaking as this, not since the day I watched the boy in the striped pyjamas anyway. I can’t thank the lady enough for handing me this book and allowing me to read such a beautiful story. Once again thank you.

I would like to end my top 3 favourites on the series of books called Fallen by the lovely Lauren Kate. Lauren Kate has written a current total of 5 books in the series so far. I can’t unfortunately vouch for all 5 as I have only read 3 however so far I have been more than impressed with what I have read. Lauren Kate is a 35-year-old lady who was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she is an amazing author of young adult fiction and this is where Fallen comes in. Fallen is a series of books about a 17-year-old girl who falls in love with a gorgeous, intelligent mysterious boy named Daniel. However afer a while she discovers that Daniel is a fallen angel which they have spent lifetimes finding and losing one another as good and evil force plots to keep them apart. I will be honest this story is very similar to Twilight in the sense of having a Vampire styled love triangle however I honestly think it’s better. This book will keep you holding on for even more and you’ll most probably end up reading all five books in one sitting. Great story with a great twist.

Lastly I just want to add in a little bit about the book I am currently reading, I am currently in the middle of Paris for one By Jojo Moyes. The other day at work I got very bored and decided to take a little wonder down the entertainment aisle (I work in a supermarket) and this title popped out at me. I have always been obsessed with Paris and romance from a very young age but since being older realising fairytale romance is a lot harder to find than in the stories, So what better story to read than Paris for one. A story based on a young lady who books a romantic weekend away to paris with her new boyfriend who she believes may be the one for her to be stood up. She decided that even after being stood up, fuck it! she’s going by herself and I thought this was amazing. I am currently reading this title and am only on page 54 so it isn’t fair to review on it yet but I’m sure once I’ve finished it I would be more than happy to share all the info with you.

In my life time I have read many different titles, some being very well-known and popular such as Harry Potter and some being not very popular or not even known at all. I have always been the kind of person who has to finish a book even if I didn’t enjoy it just to make sure I know that ending. The reviews I have written on these titles have been 100% honest, I wouldn’t recommend a story that’s going to bore you and send you to an early grave. I hope I have inspired you book readers to try out some new titles and if you have already read some of these stories I hope you enjoyed then just as much as I did.
