Remedy Roots Review | Enjoy Tea And The Health Benefits That It Brings

Just like any other British in this world, I am a fan of my tea. I have previously written a post last year for National Tea day on all my favourite flavours which was so much fun. So as you can imagine when I saw this tea tasting position I practically skydived from my work desk into the Inbox of Stuart from Remedy Roots.

When Remedy Roots contacted me back I was beyond excited to find out I’d had been accepted for the job. A chance to pop my feet up at home and try out different styles of tea. Honestly, what more could you want?

I remember the first thing that excited me about this was the companies website. I felt like a kid on Christmas marking every toy I wanted in the Argos Catalogue. Scrolling through all the options and getting to choose which ones I wanted to try out.

After a long hard decision, I decided to settle with the Skin Refresh and Stress Relief loose leaf teas. I was really happy with the choices I made and I would love to explain to you why.

Stress Relief

I decided to choose Stress Relief not only for the citrusy flavour but also because I am quite honestly very stressed. It really was as simple as that. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this product but I can’t deny that I was pleased with the results.

For anyone who follows me over on Twitter, you will know that I’ve been very busy recently. My partner and I have just moved into our first home together. I can safely say that process was the most stressful thing I’ve ever done. Nothing ever seemed to go right but to my surprise, we did make it in the end.

We’ve been living here for only a few days now and things are slowly falling into place. I may not have a bed or a sofa yet but I do have a kettle and of course, now I have some tea. each night I have been sitting down (not on a sofa) with a warm cup and letting the stress relief work its magic.

So You May Be Thinking What Is Stress Relief Loose Leaf Tea?

Stress Relief is a blend of natural ingredients to make those difficult days seem a little easier. Grass, leaf and root come together to soothe the nervous system and relax the mind.

Stress relief tea with a light citrusy flavour to relax and refocus”

The key ingredient choices work perfectly together to create a refreshing, calming and tasteful drink.

Valerian – A key ingredient of our stress relief tea. Reduces metal over-activity and nervous excitability. A useful remedy for insomnia.

Lemongrass – Soothes the digestive system to reduce unnecessary stress on the body.

Lemon Balm – A great carminative and relaxing tonic for anxiety. Lifts the spirits and calms the heart.

Chamomile – Ease tense muscles, reduces irritability and promote sleep.

Pricing at £5.20 for 20 servings of a natural caffeine free remedy. Which sounds quite pricey compared with your usual Tetley from Tesco however, when you read what you’re actually getting it’s a reasonable price for sure.

Skin Refresh

Skin Refresh was definitely going to be my second choice, not only for the pretty pink packaging but also because I’ve always struggled with my skin.

Since the age of 13/14 when my hormones kicked in, I started to get bad acne. Ever since then I’ve had scars and blemishes all over my face. This has always been an insecurity for me and always manages to get me down. Still, in search of this miracle cure and out of options I thought I’d give herbal teas a go. I’m by no means sitting here promoting that by drinking one cup of tea you’ll have a flawless finished look because that’s not going to happen. But, what I am saying is that by drinking a cup of skin refresh every morning you will help refresh your skin and hopefully one day gain that beautiful complexion you want.

Therefore, when I saw this product on the site I thought I’d give it a try and see what happens! I wasn’t expecting a miracle overnight but even if there was something that could help me get my natural glow back, I’d be so happy.

Why Should I Choose Skin Refresh

Take a deep breath and imagine yourself surrounded by roses in the garden late on a summer afternoon. That’s how we put this soft and delicate floral tea for skin together. Great for healing the skin and wonderfully pungent, this tea is all about feeling great in your own body and space.

“Floral tea for skin that heals and soothes. Feel great on the inside, look great on the outside”

I can’t express how well the description of this product matches the summery scent that it has. The beautiful bittersweetness that soothes your throat as you swallow and the power it has to regenerate your face.

What Are The Key Ingredients?

Hibiscus – Increase skin elasticity and gives an intense moisture boost. Anti-inflammatory and full of antioxidants.

Rose – Repairs and soothes the skin, as well as cleansing the digestive system.

Camomile – Calms the nervous system, soothes the digestive tract and takes down inflammation.

Calendula – Supports the immune system and deeply heals the skin.

Elderflower – Antioxidants work against toxins before cellular damage takes place.

Lavender – Mild sedative with soothes properties for the skin.

Pricing at £4.90 for 20 servings of a natural caffeine free remedy. It’s definitely worth putting a little bit of cash aside to ensure your health is a priority.

Is Remedy Roots The One For You?

If you aren’t one for flavoured teas I wouldn’t count on these being the products for you.  However, you don’t know unless you try an can you really put a price on increasing your health? They do have quite distinctive tastes, some sweet some bitter but that’s exactly what I like.

When you think of all the benefits that can come from one cup of tea a day, you really can’t complain.
