You Can’t Relate To Your Single Friends Dating Dramas & Dilemmas

I’m forever sitting down with a cup of tea listening to all my single friend’s dramas. It’s an amazing feeling when you sit there and realise how bloody lucky you truly are. He hasn’t texted her back in 3 days she says! Babe, my boyfriend texts me back in 3 seconds.

You reach that point in your life where you get sick and tired of being messed around. Luckily, when you find the right one all those problems fade away. They are a distant memory that you know you don’t ever have to re-live again.

Don’t worry, I’m not sitting back and claiming to have the most perfect relationship because believe me it’s not. We often fall out and argue about our problems but our problems are just a little bit different. It’s often who’s paying the water bill this month or why I haven’t made him breakfast yet even though I’ve only been awake 4 hours. Oh the dilemmas!

You Have A Full Time Footsie Friend

I don’t know if this is just me but I am an absolute sucker for playing footsies at night. There is definitely something calming and safe about entwining your legs together, especially on a cold winters night.

Apparently, according to a recent study, the latest sign of a healthy, loving relationship is actually touching feet. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not sitting here claiming to have a foot fetish but it is relaxing nonetheless.

You Get To Fall Out Over Silly Things Just To Have Fantastic Make-up SEX

Of course, sex is not everything. You can share the most unbreakable bond with someone and sex has nothing to do with that but, it can be a huge part of your relationship. The powerful intimacy which two people can experience with one another is something very special. Do not get embarrassed and shy away from this topic because sex is a truly remarkable act of love.

You can’t deny that theres no better feeling than being mad at the person you love only to reason you’re not that mad after all. The passion and angry radiates through your body and It’s like you can’t seem to get their body close enough to yours. Is there any way they can be more inside of you? Is there any way you can feel more connected?

You Basically Have Two Wardrobes

Haven’t got anything to wear? no problem. Your partner’s side of the wardrobe is full of comfy, cute and oversized bits ready for you to steal. You know that really warm hoody he ALWAYS wears… well, that’s now yours as well.

It’s even better when you borrow it without them knowing and it smells just like them. There’s something about their scent that just brings you pure comfort. Yes, some may say that’s creepy but it’s fine because you’re in that relationship and you can’t be judged here.

You Have Someone To Share All Your Problems With.

No matter how perfect your life may seem you will always have your ups and downs and life won’t always be perfect. At some point or another, you’ll go through tough times, that’s just life.

Now that’s the best part about being in a relationship. You’re just there for each other no matter how big or small the problem may seem to the other person. You genuinely care and want to make sure the other person is ok. Seeing the person you love in pain has got to be one of the most hurtful things, you just want to make it all better for them.

Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on!

You Live With Your Best Friend

Coming home at the end of the day to hang out with your best friend is one of the best feelings. Knowing that no matter how fantastic or crappy your day was, you’ll always have someone to go home to and tell.

You Always Have Someone To Do Fun Activities With

Don’t get me wrong, I am a firm believer in the importance of having ‘Me’ time. But let’s be honest, sometimes you just don’t want to be alone. Being in a relationship opens up so many more doors to fun experiences. Wanting to visit a museum? Let’s go play a board game! There’s just an endless amount of things you can do together.

You Finally Know What It Feels Like To Love Someone Unconditionally

I’ve decided to end today’s post with a real cringe-worthy cute one. I know it sounds so Hollywood movie but it’s true. As soppy as it sounds, one of the best things about being in love is simply feeling love toward another person (and, of course, feeling loved in return).

Now tell me falling in love isn’t worth every minute of it?

Relationships definitely do come with their benefits but only if you meet the right one. I spent so many years putting my focus into the wrong relationships so don’t rush yourself. but anyhoo, I wish you all the best John and truly hope you find one that makes you this happy 🙂

You’re so cute and so is this post!! The only thing I disagree with is touching feet. If my boyfriends feet touch me I would kick him myself. I really hate feet!!! But a wonderful post as always.

There is nothing like sharing your life and experiences with the love of your life. It’s an amazing experience. Something I think some people either take for granted or can’t find at all.
